A zip-up cotton jacket with heating elements sewn into the lining. It runs off a standard USB power bank, so there is no proprietary battery to lose or replace — you use the same pack that charges your phone.

Choosing your heating zones

The zone count is how many separate heating panels are built into the jacket, and it is the main thing that changes between versions:

• 2 zones — chest panels only. The cheapest option and enough for a commute.
• 4 zones — chest plus upper back. The sensible middle choice for most people.
• 8 zones — adds lower back, collar, and abdomen. For genuinely cold standing-around work.
• 9 zones — the fullest coverage available, black only.

Worth knowing

A power bank is not included. You will need your own USB battery pack to run the heating — without one it works as an ordinary insulated jacket.

Standard sense with any heated garment: do not sleep in it while it is running, and do not use it on skin that cannot feel heat properly.
